About the River City 5K Run/Walk
The course is certified and set in Burns Park Soccer Complex, a large park on the Arkansas River in North Little Rock. It runs on behalf of a local ministry that provides food, housing, and medical care for unhoused and uninsured neighbors in the area. The surroundings are open and grassy, typical of a soccer complex, and the course itself is flat park terrain.
Packet pickup runs the day before at a local running store in Little Rock, with a long pickup window. If that does not work, you can register and pick up on race morning at the course. Parking at Burns Park is generally straightforward, as the complex has room for a crowd.
