About the Rising Eagles on the Run - 1 Mile Elementary Race

This is a cross country race for elementary-age kids, held on the grounds of Columbia City High School. The course runs on an open section of the high school's own cross country layout, which the organizers note works well for watching from the sidelines. Kids from kindergarten through fifth grade compete, with younger and older groups starting separately.

Check-in is behind the school near a pond, and parking is by the baseball fields. Awards are given out by grade and gender based on overall finishing order.
