The course runs through Cauley Creek Park on a rubberized road surface and holds USATF certification, which also makes it a Peachtree Road Race qualifier. It is a park setting, so the surroundings are green and open rather than urban. A yoga warm-up happens on the field before the start, and there is breakfast at the finish line once you are done.

Race-morning check-in and packet pickup both happen at the park staging area. The kids' fun run and wheelchair race go off later in the morning, after the main events, so families tend to stick around. Awards follow shortly after.
