About the Rexy Run/Walk

The course starts and finishes at Broken Arrow Park in southeast Lawrence, then winds out through the Baker Wetlands. Underfoot you get a mix of paved concrete trail and fine gravel, so the surface shifts as you go. Strollers and dogs are welcome, which tends to show in the crowd. The race benefits a local nonprofit that supports families of children fighting cancer.

Packet pickup runs the evening before at a farm bureau office and a running store on Massachusetts Street, with a morning-of option at the park itself before the start.
