About the 18th Annual Resolution Run to Kick Cancer 5K

The course starts and finishes in front of Lexington High School and runs through the historic center of town. The terrain is flat and the route is chip timed and USATF sanctioned, so it attracts runners who want an honest result. Awards go deep, with categories for cancer patients and survivors alongside the standard age group and overall places.

Packet pickup runs the evening before at Marathon Sports on Massachusetts Avenue, with race-morning pickup at the high school field house as a backup. Parking is available in the lots in front of and behind the school, with overflow along Worthen Road and at a few nearby parks. Strollers are welcome but start at the back, and dogs and bikes are not allowed on the course.
