About the Resolution Run at City Station
The Resolution Run is a New Year's Day race in Carrollton, starting and finishing at City Station, a community facility that opens early so runners have a warm place to gather before the gun. The race raises money for people experiencing homelessness in the area, so there is a sense of purpose behind it beyond just the miles. Age group and masters awards go out for the main distance.
City Station stays open through the finish, which gives the morning a settled feel rather than a tent-and-parking-lot scramble. Race-day registration and packet pickup both happen there on the morning of the race, so you can sort out your bib without making a special trip the day before.
