About the Resolute Runner 5k

The course runs on concrete bike paths and sidewalks through the park and along Ralston Creek Trail, starting and finishing at Johnny Roberts Memorial Park near Arvada's City Hall. It is a paved route with no significant climbing, and because the layout folds back on itself, spectators standing near the start can walk a short distance and catch runners at a couple of points before the finish.

Packet pickup runs the evening before the race at a running store in Westminster. Parking at the park is free, with overflow space at the nearby City Hall, Post Office, and surrounding streets. Portable restrooms are in the park's northeast parking lot. Runners, volunteers, and spectators who bring canned goods to the food drive can enter a drawing for gifts from area businesses.
