About the Rep Your Run Crew

Rep Your Run Crew takes over Druid Hill Park with a course that leans into the park's scenery and draws crews from run clubs, fitness groups, nonprofits, fraternities, sororities, and workplace teams across the region. Several distance options mean fast runners and casual walkers end up at the same post-race festival, which is the real point.

After the race, the park fills out with food trucks, a live DJ, vendor booths, wellness demos, and a cash bar. There is space to spread a blanket near the water and stay a while. The biggest crew on the course competes for a cash prize, so groups tend to show up organized and loud.

Common Questions About the Rep Your Run Crew

Will I finish last at the Rep Your Run Crew?

Almost certainly not. Half the 3.2 Miles field finished slower than 35:02, and the last recorded finisher came in around 1:13:49, so there is a long tail of runners behind the middle of the pack. Most fields are far slower than people expect.

Is the Rep Your Run Crew a good first 3.2 Miles?

It is a small race (177 finishers), which is friendlier and less intimidating than a big-city event, though the field thins out. There is no qualifying time, and the finish-time spread above shows how varied the field really is. If it is your first 3.2 Miles, that spread matters more than the winner's time.

How competitive is the Rep Your Run Crew?

The 3.2 Miles winner ran 19:03 while the median finisher took 35:02. That spread points to a mixed field, with a competitive front and a big recreational middle.
