About the Red White & Brew 5k Run/Walk

The course starts at the entrance to Bridgeway Station and takes runners over a bridge early on before flattening out. It is a quick route, with the terrain favoring faster efforts. The surroundings are part of a mixed-use development, so the atmosphere feels more block-party than park run.

Packet pickup opens in the hour before the race at Bridgeway Station, so there is no separate day-before trip to plan. After the finish, Bridgeway Brewing Company has beer on hand, and The City Market brings in several food vendors. A DJ keeps things going while people stick around.

Common Questions About the Red White & Brew 5k Run/Walk

Will I finish last at the Red White & Brew 5k Run/Walk?

Almost certainly not. Half the 5K field finished slower than 31:21, and the last recorded finisher came in around 58:20, so there is a long tail of runners behind the middle of the pack. Most fields are far slower than people expect.

Is the Red White & Brew 5k Run/Walk a good first 5K?

A field of 295 is big enough that you will have company at your pace without feeling lost in a crowd. There is no qualifying time, and the finish-time spread above shows how varied the field really is. If it is your first 5K, that spread matters more than the winner's time.

How competitive is the Red White & Brew 5k Run/Walk?

The 5K winner ran 17:38 while the median finisher took 31:21. That spread points to a mixed field, with a competitive front and a big recreational middle.
