About the Red, White and Blue Half Marathon - Austin
The course runs through Texas trails with natural surroundings, and several distance options mean you can run as little or as much as you want on the day. There are aid stations along the route, and a DJ plays at the finish area while results and awards are announced live at a race rally tent.
After finishing, snacks and water are set up at the rally tent. The organizer announces every finisher by name and calls up award winners in person, so the post-race gathering has some real energy to it rather than just a quiet dispersal to the parking lot.
