About the Red Lodge Event's Turkey Trot
The course runs out of the Rodeo Grounds, heading south to a turnaround and then north past the dog park before coming back to the Edgar Gruel Building. It is a double out-and-back on what sounds like open, flat ground, and a shorter option peels off at the first turnaround. Dogs on leashes are welcome, and so are strollers.
After the run there is a snack table and hot cocoa at the finish. The event is free, and donations collected go to a local food pantry and a local humane society. Registration happens online or in person on the day itself.
