About the REACH Foundation Shamrock 'n Run
The course runs through Yorba Regional Park, which keeps things green and open with plenty of room to spread out. Dogs on leashes are welcome, and the park setting means spectators tend to spread along the route rather than bunch at the finish, so you get some noise scattered through the middle miles too.
The race benefits student enrichment programs in the local school district, so the crowd skews toward families and school groups. Age division awards go deep, covering a wide spread of age brackets, so podium spots are realistic for runners who might not contend overall.
