About the Rattlesnake Master Run for the Prairie

The course loops Meadowbrook Park and its prairie, so you are running through open grassland the whole way. The trail surface keeps it honest underfoot, and the park itself is the reason the race exists: it benefits a local land trust that protects this kind of habitat. Dogs, strollers, and hiking poles are not allowed on course.

Packet pickup runs the afternoon before at a local running store in Savoy, or you can grab your packet race morning at the Garden Pavilion near the Race Street lot. Parking is spread across several spots around the park. The walk from the Windsor lot to the pavilion takes a few minutes through the park, crossing a bridge over the creek.
