About the Racing Minds Kids' Run Series (Fall 2026)
This is a multi-week kids' running series held at Lakeline Park Sports Fields, with a backup venue available if the fields are rained out. Each week, children race distances suited to their age group, from short dashes for the youngest kids up to a full mile for older ones. The emphasis is on personal improvement rather than head-to-head competition, and coaches track progress across the weeks.
Packet pickup is available the day before the series starts at Lakeline Park, or early the morning of the first session at a local sporting goods store in Cedar Park. Both early options enter you in a gift card drawing. If those do not work, there is a same-day pickup window on the afternoon of the first session at Lakeline Park Sports Fields.
