About the Cedar Park Run Mile Challenge (Fall Edition)
The Cedar Park Run Mile Challenge takes place at Elizabeth Milburn Park, a one-mile timed effort repeated across several weeks so you can track your own improvement. The course is short enough that walkers, joggers, and stroller pushers all fit comfortably on the same route, and the format is built around beating your own previous time rather than anyone else's.
The event runs alongside a kids' running series, so the park is already busy with families when the adult mile starts. Check-in opens in the early afternoon, and the whole thing wraps up well before evening, making it a reasonable addition to the day without taking it over.
