The course runs through Charles Towne Landing State Park, where the trail winds past river and marsh views under a canopy of old oaks. It is a genuinely pretty place to run, and the pajama theme means you will see plenty of people who dressed for the occasion rather than for speed.

Packet pickup happens the evening before at Fleet Feet West Ashley, with race-morning pickup available as well. After the run, there is soup, cornbread, and Hoppin' John served indoors, with vegetarian options in the mix. The park gates close to traffic early on race morning, so arriving with time to spare matters.
