About the Race for Recovery 5K & Breaking Barriers Recovery Mile

The 5K starts at the Arkansas State Capitol and heads down Capitol Avenue, swinging past the Wolfe Street Foundation before returning to the Capitol grounds. The shorter distance stays on the Capitol grounds the whole way. Both routes keep you in the heart of Little Rock, on streets that feel purposeful given what the race is about.

The Wolfe Street Foundation organizes the event, and the post-race area reflects that. A recovery resource fair brings together community partners on-site, and food and drinks are available after you finish. The start area at the Capitol steps gives the morning a grounded, public feel.
