About the Queen Bee 5k & 10k
The race runs through Heardmont Park, a women-only event with distance options for those who want a shorter or longer morning. The park setting keeps things shaded and off the roads, and a stroller division means mothers can bring young children along without breaking into a separate corral.
After the finish, there is a post-race High Tea reception where runners gather before heading home. It is a sit-down moment rather than the usual banana-and-bagel table, which gives the morning a different shape than most local road races.
