About the Quarry Turkey

The course is fast and mostly flat, which suits runners looking to push a pace a couple of days after Thanksgiving. There are several distance options, so groups with mixed goals can show up together. A short scramble for kids is included for anyone who brings little ones along.

There is a food drive on race morning benefiting a local food bank, and bringing a canned good is encouraged. If you also ran the same organizer's Thanksgiving Day event, a combined challenge links the two races with a connector piece that joins the hardware from both.
