About the Diwali Fun Run + Festival
The race is an evening event tied to a Diwali festival, so the atmosphere is closer to a block party with a course than a traditional morning race. The route is mostly flat, with a few dips where the path goes under overpasses. Both a shorter and a longer distance share the same course, and walkers are welcome on the longer option.
The festival kicks off before the first wave goes out, with henna available early in the evening and dinner served as runners are finishing. Awards follow not long after. If you are not running, there is a festival-only option that gets you into the food and activities without the race entry.
