About the 8th Annual Puppy Love 5k
The race runs through Commons Park, following a trail the organizers describe as beautiful. Dogs are welcome on the course, and the morning has a lot going on beyond the running itself: a pet costume contest with crowd voting, adoptable animals to meet, raffle drawings, vendor booths, and a DJ keeping things moving. It is genuinely built around the animals.
Race-morning check-in opens well before the start, with early packet pickup announced closer to race day. The park is on Poinciana Boulevard, so it is easy to find. A race photographer works the event, and the costume contest signup happens at the registration booth when you arrive.
