About the Puppy Love 5K Run/Walk

The course runs through Palmetto Island Park, and dogs on leash are welcome the whole way. The park has a tennis ball field, a stick crossing, and something called the squirrel overlook, so the route has its own personality. Awards go to top finishers with dogs, plus a handful of costume categories with names like Best Butt Wiggle and Most Likely to Take a Nap.

Packet pickup the day before is at a local running shop on Coleman Boulevard, with a second window at the park on race morning. Parking is included with your entry. After the race, there is a short dash for dogs, and hot chocolate and treats for both humans and pups at the finish.
