About the Pumpkin Roll 5k
The course runs through Rutledge-Wilson Farm Park on mostly paved trails with some gravel stretches mixed in. It is an open, agricultural setting, so the surroundings feel more pastoral than a typical road race through town. The terrain is gentle and the farm park backdrop gives it a different look than most fall races in the area.
After the race, Harvest Fest is going on at the park, so there is plenty of reason to stick around with family. There is also pumpkin roll at the finish, which fits the name.
