About the Prowl the Peak Twilight 5K Run & 3K Walk
The race runs at night on the lighted trails at Lapham Peak, a state park just outside Delafield. It is a trail event, so expect packed dirt and natural terrain rather than pavement. Runners do a couple of loops through the trail network, passing through the start and finish area partway through. The walk starts after the first wave of runners comes back through.
Check-in is at the Evergreen Shelter well before the start, so there is time to get your bearings in the dark. No water is available on the course, so carry what you need. A park sticker or day pass is required to enter, so plan for that before you arrive.
