About the Project Purple Pretzel Run
The course runs through Nomahegan Park, a Union County park with ponds and tree-lined paths. It stays flat throughout, which makes for a straightforward effort from start to finish. The whole thing winds through the park's quieter sections, so the surroundings are calm even when the field is moving.
There is packet pickup the evening before at a Fleet Feet location, with race-morning pickup also available at the park. Arrive a bit before the gun goes off to sort parking and restrooms. There are pretzels at the finish, which fits the race name well.
