About the Possum Trot 10K & 1 mile Fun Run

The course follows the Chattahoochee River, staying flat and quick with the water nearby for most of the run. The race benefits environmental education programs tied to the river and its watershed, so the setting and the cause are the same thing. It also qualifies runners for the Peachtree Road Race, which draws a lot of the field.

The Chattahoochee Nature Center is behind the event, and the proceeds go directly to their programs. If you are chasing a Peachtree qualifier, this one gets the job done on a course that does not work against you.
