About the Portland (Almost) 5K
The course starts at a local skate shop and heads straight onto a bridge crossing over to a river island, with downtown Louisville opening up ahead of you. From there it loops through Lannan Memorial Park before returning to where you started. It is shorter than a true 5K, and that is the point.
Morning-of pickup keeps things simple at the start. Afterward, there is a proper party at the skate shop: snacks, music, skateboarding demonstrations, and books from the public library. Proceeds support local community initiatives through the Portland Museum.
