About the Pink Pony Trot
The race runs around Lake Padden, entering through the west gate off S Samish Way. The course is a single loop on park terrain, and the surroundings are mostly trees and water. It is put on by a local drill team, and that identity carries through to the finish, where you can get a photo with one of their horses.
Krispy Kreme donuts are waiting at the finish. The course has a water station, but it is a cupless event, so bring something to drink from. The start is at the west gate entrance to the park.
