The race starts and finishes at Perrin Brewing Co. in Comstock Park, and the route runs a touch longer than a standard 5k by design. It is a winter road race, so the weather can go anywhere, and the name is not just a gimmick. The course follows the same route the race has used before, with the start and finish now at a single spot.

Packet pickup is available on a couple of evenings before race day at Perrin Brewing, with race-morning pickup opening well before the gun. After finishing, runners head into the taphouse for a post-race party with chili, beer, and non-alcoholic drinks. The proceeds go to Kids Food Basket.
