About the Pelican Lakes Turkey Trot

The course winds through Water Valley, starting and finishing in the parking lot of the Pelican Lakes golf course. Strollers and dogs are welcome on the route. The timing is deliberate, a Thanksgiving morning run with the rest of the day still ahead of you. The charity tie and the food bank donation ask are both part of the deal here.

Packet pickup runs the evening before the race at the Banquet Room at Pelican Lakes, with race-morning pickup also available. After the run, the same banquet room opens up for a post-race spread of light breakfast food, coffee, hot chocolate, and a complimentary beer. Overflow parking lines the nearby parkway if the main lot fills.
