About the PAWS Zombie Walk & Furry 5k

The route runs along a bike path and through downtown sidewalks, starting and finishing at a local brewery. Dogs are welcome and clearly the point, with a costume contest judging the best-dressed pups, owners, and matching pairs. You can run without a dog, though the awards are designed with four-legged participants in mind.

The brewery serves as home base, so there is a natural gathering spot before and after. Free parking is available nearby, in a public lot behind a historic opera house a short walk from the start.
