About the Paws for Life Fun Run/Walk 5K
The course runs through Imperial Memorial Gardens, a cemetery and funeral home on the edge of Pueblo. Cemetery routes tend to be quiet and paved, with plenty of open space and little traffic to worry about. The race benefits Paws for Life, the local pet shelter, and the entry is free as long as you bring donated pet supplies.
Same-day registration opens before the start, so you can show up without having signed up in advance. Water is on the course. The donation ask is loose, ranging from a bag of kibble to cat litter to toys, and the organizers also point people toward an online giving option if that is easier.
