The course starts at an administrative office building and winds through Pehkokia Woods, looping back past the Izaak Walton League building before the finish. The surroundings are quiet and natural for a Thanksgiving morning, with the woods giving the route some character beyond a standard road loop. Proceeds support the early learning center that organizes it.
