About the Huntington Veterans Day 5K

The race starts outside the National Guard building in Huntington, which sets the tone for the whole morning. The route is described as scenic, and the event draws runners alongside walkers and cyclists out for a bike ride on the same day. It is a patriotic gathering with a genuine purpose behind it, connected to a local Memorial Mile project the organizing group has been building out.
