About the Partnership for Purpose 5K Walk/Run!
The course runs through Alexander Park, and the route itself carries weight beyond the footpath. This race was built around a foundation honoring a specific life lost to fentanyl poisoning, and that purpose shows up in the atmosphere. Personalized yard signs line the route, placed there by families who could not be present, so you are running past faces and names the whole way.
Packet pickup opens early on race morning before the opening ceremony. After the run, there is a community resource fair with mental health and Narcan education tables, local vendors, and youth outreach partners. The post-race gathering runs well into late morning, so there is time to stay and talk.

Finish-Time Stats
Going by the 2026 results, this is a small, friendly field, and the spread of finish times is wide, so this is a mostly recreational race rather than one for club runners.

The Partnership for Purpose 5K Walk/Run! has been held every year since at least 2026. That is as far back as RunSignup's records for this race go, so it may well be older.
How we calculate these stats: RunSesh calculates these figures from the most recent published results of past editions, sourced from RunSignup. We show aggregates only: field size, winning and median times, and the cutoff. We never publish individual finisher tables. Last updated Jul 27, 2026.
