The course winds through the Bell Tower Shops, a retail center in Fort Myers, so you are running past storefronts rather than through a park. The route is flat and urban, and the pink dress code gives the field a visual identity you notice from the start. The race benefits a local breast cancer charity, and that purpose is visible in the crowd.
Packet pickup runs the evening before at Fleet Feet Bell Tower, with race-morning pickup available as well, both at the same shop inside the center. Parking is near a cluster of restaurants along the same stretch, and a map goes out in the pre-race email. There is post-race entertainment, music, and refreshments on site.
