About the Parkville Turkey Trail Trot 5k
The course runs along the Missouri River through English Landing Park, which keeps things scenic and mostly flat. It is the kind of morning where you see strollers and serious runners side by side, all of it wrapped in that particular Thanksgiving quiet before the day gets busy.
Proceeds go toward the park itself, the nearby nature sanctuary, and a local animal shelter, so the entry fee does some work beyond the race. The park setting means parking and the start area are right there together, which makes the morning simple to navigate.
