About the 48th Annual Parkersburg Turkey Trot
The course runs through City Park, which keeps the route sheltered and scenic without much traffic to dodge. It reads as a neighborhood gathering as much as a race, the kind of morning where you will recognize faces from previous years and the crowd skews toward extended families out together before the meal.
Packet pickup runs the evening before Thanksgiving at the rec building inside City Park, with a second window on race morning before the start. The same building serves as a natural gathering point, so parking and the start area are close together.
