About the Panther Cheer Halloween Spirit 5K & 2.5K Run
The course loops the Elizabethtown High School campus, and both distances share that same loop, so the crowd and start area stay close the whole time. Costumes are strongly encouraged, and the awards include categories for best individual, group, and kids' costume, so plenty of people show up dressed for it. The race supports the EHS Panther Cheer Boosters.
Packet pickup and race-day registration open early morning at Panther Stadium. Parking is at Memorial Methodist Church, with entry from North Miles Street. After the race, awards and costume judging move to the stadium's fifty-yard line. Light refreshments and water are available post-race.
