About the Jingle Bell Trot
The course runs through a holiday light display at Freeman Lake Park, so the whole thing happens after dark, surrounded by decorations and twinkling lights. It reads more like a stroll through a seasonal attraction than a timed road race, which shapes the whole atmosphere of the evening.
Packet pickup opens late in the evening, not long before the start, so there is no need to arrive early. After finishing, there is hot cocoa and cookies at the park. The race benefits Toys for Tots and local educational programs run by the Elizabethtown Rotary Club.

Finish-Time Stats
Going by the 2025 results, this is a small, friendly field, and the spread of finish times is wide, so this is a mostly recreational race rather than one for club runners.

The Jingle Bell Trot has been held every year since at least 2023. That is as far back as RunSignup's records for this race go, so it may well be older.
How we calculate these stats: RunSesh calculates these figures from the most recent published results of past editions, sourced from RunSignup. We show aggregates only: field size, winning and median times, and the cutoff. We never publish individual finisher tables. Last updated Jul 27, 2026.
