About the Pacific Runderland 5k & Kids Run

The course runs through Roegner Park, a green stretch along the river that gives the race a natural, unhurried feel. The route is USATF certified, so the distance is measured and marked properly. The race supports Washington's National Park Fund, and all proceeds go directly to that cause. The kids run follows a shorter loop through the same park.

The race is organized entirely by volunteers, and all proceeds go to support national parks in the state. The park itself serves as the gathering spot before and after, with open grass and the river close by.
