About the Baby Steps 5K 2026
The course runs along the river at Roegner Park on fully paved trail, so the footing is smooth throughout. It draws a large crowd for a cause rooted in pregnancy and infant loss support, and the atmosphere reflects that, more somber and purposeful than a typical road race morning, with many participants walking alongside those who run.
Parking is at Auburn Riverside High School, though signage on the day will guide you around any closed sections of the lot. Registration check-in and packet pickup happen at the picnic shelter inside the park. Leashed pets are welcome on the course.
