About the Owego Night Invite
The course runs through a school campus after dark, lit up with strings of lights for the occasion. Live music plays along the route, and the whole thing has the feel of a fall evening event as much as a race. Earlier in the night, competitive high school cross country runners go first, so the atmosphere is already warm by the time the community run starts.
Glow gear is encouraged, and the crowd leans into it. Packet pickup and start logistics are based at the school campus, so everything is in one place. There is no need to hunt for the venue once you arrive.
