About the 9th Annual OutRun Hunger 5K
The course runs through Harvest Green, a master-planned community west of downtown Richmond, and the terrain is paved and mostly flat. The race benefits a local food assistance ministry, so the crowd skews toward families with kids in tow. After the finish, there is a bounce house, face painting, and vendor booths set up nearby, and the energy stays up well past the last finisher.

Finish-Time Stats
Going by the 2025 results, this is a decent-sized field, and the spread of finish times is wide, so this is a mostly recreational race rather than one for club runners.
