About the ORRRC Narrows Rabbit Hunt Trail Run
This is a trail run through a nature preserve, starting at the Nature Center on Indian Ripple Road. The course follows natural-surface trails through wooded terrain, with the kind of footing that rewards trail shoes. It runs as a single distance, so everyone shares the same route out on the same afternoon.
Parking is across the street from the Nature Center, up the hill at the Russ Research Center lot. Check-in is at the Nature Center itself; look for the green tablecloth table, where you pick up your timing chip. Arriving well before the start is worth it, both for the walk over and to get settled before the afternoon gun.

The ORRRC Narrows Rabbit Hunt Trail Run has been held every year since at least 2025. That is as far back as RunSignup's records for this race go, so it may well be older.
How we calculate these stats: RunSesh calculates these figures from the most recent published results of past editions, sourced from RunSignup. We show aggregates only: field size, winning and median times, and the cutoff. We never publish individual finisher tables. Last updated Jul 27, 2026.
