About the ORRRC Lou Cox at DeWeese Park 5k
The course runs on paved recreation paths through a stretch of connected Dayton parks along the Stillwater and Great Miami Rivers. It is flat throughout, with the riverbanks giving the whole thing an open, scenic feel. The route links three parks together, so the scenery shifts as you move through each one.
Parking is in a gravel lot near the entrance to Triangle Park, where Ridge Avenue meets DeWeese Parkway. Plan to arrive well before the start to park, check in, and pick up your timing chip at the green-tablecloth table. Registration can be handled on race day if needed, and ORRRC members run free.

How we calculate these stats: RunSesh calculates these figures from the most recent published results of past editions, sourced from RunSignup. We show aggregates only: field size, winning and median times, and the cutoff. We never publish individual finisher tables. Last updated Jul 27, 2026.
