About the 5k for Kelli

The course runs out and back along the Stillwater River, starting and finishing beside Wegerzyn Gardens. The path follows the water the whole way, so the surroundings are green and open. Many runners dress in fairy costumes, since the race honors a woman who loved fairies, and face painting and hair spraying are part of the morning.

Packet pickup is available the evening before at the Breast Wishes Foundation office in Vandalia, which the organizers strongly recommend. Parking and race-morning registration are at the Flying Field at Wegerzyn, on Siebenthaler Avenue. The merchandise tent opens well before the start, with fairy costume pieces if you want to dress up but did not come prepared.
