About the Noyo Headlands Race
The course runs along the coastal trail north of downtown Fort Bragg, heading toward MacKerricher State Park. Underfoot it is a mix of pavement and soft track, and the grade stays gentle throughout. The ocean is right there the whole way, which makes the out-and-back feel shorter than it is. Several distance options mean families tend to show up together.
Packet pickup runs the evening before at the Mendocino Land Trust office in downtown Fort Bragg, up a flight of stairs from the street, though they set a table outside for those who do not want to climb. The start area is accessed from West Cypress Street, with parking nearby along the runway.

The Noyo Headlands Race has been held every year since at least 2018. That is as far back as RunSignup's records for this race go, so it may well be older.
How we calculate these stats: RunSesh calculates these figures from the most recent published results of past editions, sourced from RunSignup. We show aggregates only: field size, winning and median times, and the cutoff. We never publish individual finisher tables. Last updated Jul 27, 2026.
