About the Red, White & Blue Race
The course follows the coastal trail north from Noyo Headlands Park, hugging the ocean the entire way. Shorter distances turn around near a compass rose landmark, while the longer routes push past Glass Beach, cross the Pudding Creek Trestle, and continue along the historic Haul Road into Mackerricher State Park. The terrain is mixed, and the ocean is visible for nearly the whole run.
Fruit, water, and coffee are available at the finish, with coffee also running through the morning. The race benefits a local nonprofit that supports mind health services for first responders.

Finish-Time Stats
Going by the 2026 results, this is a small, friendly field, and the spread of finish times is wide, so this is a mostly recreational race rather than one for club runners.

The Red, White & Blue Race has been held every year since at least 2026. That is as far back as RunSignup's records for this race go, so it may well be older.
How we calculate these stats: RunSesh calculates these figures from the most recent published results of past editions, sourced from RunSignup. We show aggregates only: field size, winning and median times, and the cutoff. We never publish individual finisher tables. Last updated Jul 27, 2026.
