About the Not Ya Mama's 5K
The course starts at the Calhoun Civic Club and winds through the surrounding roads before finishing inside the West Ouachita Wellness Park, where runners complete a lap on the park track. It is a road race on a circuit route, so the finish line has a distinct feel from the rest of the course.
Packet pickup runs the week before at a Spring Fling celebration hosted at a local middle school, with a food truck spread, live music, and a chili cookoff going on around you. There is also an evening pickup option the night before the race, and a window on race morning.
